Filling in and correcting

Catching up

To catch up on the dashboard collects everything still open although its time has come — across all active semesters:

  • Sessions from their start, as long as they are not completed.
  • Deadlines after their due date, even if they already have a state. Before that they are listed under “Upcoming deadlines”.

The dashboard shows the latest five, and below them Catch up on all (n). That starts guided catching up with the oldest entry: rate it, Done — and the next open entry opens straight away, in chronological order. If you started in the middle of the list, it continues with the oldest one still open at the end. After the last one you return to the dashboard with All caught up, and the section is gone. A single entry from the list also starts guided catching up at that point.

Example: three classes today. Open the first catch-up entry, rate it, “Done” — the second and third follow, then the dashboard.

Correcting sessions

Edit any session. Open it and tap the pencil at the top right: type, date, time, room and teacher can all be changed — including for an exam or any other single session, which previously could only be deleted. The session keeps its rating and its completion.

For a series session the app asks about the scope: Only this one or The next n as well. A session you moved on its own stays where it is — it is an exception, and a later change to the series no longer touches it. Cancelled sessions do not move along either.

A session cannot be moved beyond the semester's bounds; the app says so and leaves it where it was.

On the page of a series (Courses → a course → a series) you will find all its sessions. There you can:

  • Cancel a session — it stays visible and counts as completed, but not as missed, and is left out of the attendance rate. Reinstate opens it again.
  • Move a session — change date and time.

If a session differs from its series – a different day, time, room or person – it carries the Changed tag in the list; touching it tells you what is different. A reminder or note is not a change. Undo everything and the tag goes away, and a session back on its day and at its time belongs to the series again. The widget and the school timetable use the same word.

  • Add a session by hand — for replacement classes, block courses, or anything that does not fit the rhythm.

Sessions added by hand survive a later change to the recurrence.
