StudyNow stores data locally on your device and nowhere else. There is:

For the widget, the app places an extract of the next 14 days in storage shared only by the app and its widget – again only on the device.

• no account,
• no StudyNow server,
• no analytics,
• no sharing with third parties.

A connection to the outside world only happens when you make it:

• Importing a semester from a link — the app fetches exactly that one file from the address you opened or pasted, and nothing else. None of your data leaves the device; the server providing the file sees only the usual connection data of any request (such as your IP address). A file from Mail or Files needs no network at all. Reload also asks only that address, and only when you tap it.
• Privacy policy and Legal notice open in your browser.
• Feedback opens a prepared draft in your mail app. The draft carries the version, platform and language so that a bug report can be placed — you are free to delete them. Nothing is sent without you.
• Syncing devices — via iCloud, the app stores your state in your iCloud storage at Apple; “Nearby” connects two devices directly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, without the internet. Both only when you switch them on or start them.
