The calendar
The Calendar tab has three levels. Switch at the top:
| Level | What for |
|---|---|
| Day | For working through: one day, all entries below one another |
| Week | For planning: seven days side by side |
| Month | For the overview: the grid; tapping a day opens it |
Next to it you choose the view: Calendar (calendar sheet icon) or List (bullet list icon). The calendar is the default everywhere; the choice stays when you page and when you change the level.
At the week level there is a 5 days / 7 days switch in between. Five is the default: most sessions are on weekdays, and five columns are readable even on a phone. If something falls on the weekend, the view says so above the grid and offers the switch to seven days — it hides nothing.
- Week as calendar — a time grid with one column per day and the hours along the left edge, at least 8 am to 6 pm, more if sessions start earlier or end later. Every block shows the session type icon, the name and the room below it, tinted in the course's colour. Deadlines without a time sit in the Due row at the top, as do a band for an open registration or withdrawal and the name of a break, whose days are hatched. Overlapping sessions stand side by side. Tapping a block opens the session; tapping the weekday in the header opens that day.
- Month as calendar — the month grid with colour dots: one dot per course, at most three, the rest as +n. Tapping a day stays in the month and shows its entries below; an empty day says so. From there a button opens the day view. Days off are hatched, days of an open registration or withdrawal are marked at the bottom.
- List — the entries below one another. In the month only days with something on them appear.
The bar with the arrows, level, view and Today is pinned and stays visible while you scroll.
- Page back and forth with the arrows at the top — by a day, a week or a month, depending on the level.
- Jump to a date: tap the period between the arrows, such as “Week 46 · 09.11.2026 to 15.11.2026”. A month calendar opens; tapping a day shows the period that contains it. The level stays as it is.
- Today sits in the same place at every level and jumps to the period that contains today — today's date, the current week or the current month. The level stays as it is. If you are already there, the button is greyed out, but never hidden.
- Sessions lead straight to rating; Back returns you to the same level and the same period.
- You can advance tasks right here, without the detour via the course: tapping the icon goes empty (open) → dashed (in progress) → tick (submitted, registered or done) → empty. Deadline types without “In progress” jump straight to the tick; another final state goes back to open.
- Sessions show their label and their room next to the course.
The past carries its state — in the shape, not the colour. In front of every entry is the same marker as on a course's page: filled for completed, an open ring for still to catch up, dashed for “still to come”. It only turns red for an overdue deadline.
Since 5.1, colour means the same thing everywhere: which course. That is why the markers no longer carry status colours and the dots in the month grid carry course colours. The state of a single day is in the list below the grid.
At the week level all seven days are always shown, including the empty ones — in the grid and in the list. If empty days were left out, a full week with two free days and a week with only two sessions would look the same.
